Looking to celebrate the 4th with a BANG? Here are 5 places you can take the whole family to watch professional firework shows and enjoy festive celebrations.

Celebrate the 50th Annual Fireworks Show in a festive family-friendly atmosphere held at the West LA College grounds. In addition to the may event, there will be Live music, a slew of food trucks, and a kid-zone full of carnival games, raffles, games and prizes. Guests may bring picnic baskets, blankets and low chairs. Tents and umbrellas along with pets, alcoholic beverages and smoking all are prohibited.

Redondo Beach @Seaside Lagoon

The Redondo Beach Fireworks Spectacular is a family and kid friendly event. It is first come first served seating so bring your beach chairs, blankets and umbrella (no tents) for an all day fun event. In addition to fireworks there will be music from a Live DJ, arts & crafts and swimming in the water lagoon and inflatable slides (lifeguard on duty). Food can be purchased at Ruby’s or you can bring your own food and drinks for a picnic style shindig. Alcohol Prohibited.

Complete with musical performances on the KJLH stage, food, carnival rides, games and activities Los Angeles is bringing the fun for this year’s community festival and fireworks show. It’s all going down on the south lawn at Exposition park and it’s free!

Gates Open at 2:00PM

Looking for a good time head on down to Grand Park at the LA music center for a four-block block party that has the best firework display Downtown Los Angeles has to offer. There will be plenty of food, Live bands, games and activities for everyone. Safety is number one so there is a bag check and a list of prohibited items so leave the questionables at home at come out for a good time.

Spend the day in the Marina with a picnic in the park, enjoy a waterfront dinner with firework views or hop aboard an observation cruise for a front row seat to the show.
